At this stage, hockey is still on at Jenola on
Saturday (and obviously at Moorebank tonight and Sylvania on
Sunday).
The fields are in good condition, with the
slight exception of the railway end goals. If the rain
holds off overnight all will be good for play on Saturday morning
(particularly if the wind picks up as forecast).
We will need people to set up the nets on the
goals, so please let the parents of the 8.15am games know that they
will be asked to pitch in and put up the nets and also clear any
sticks from the fields. The parents of the final games on
each field will need to bring the goal nets in.
Minkey games will not play on the railway end
field, those games will instead play on the Kingsway end field.
If there is rain, I will re-inspect at about
7.45am tomorrow morning. At that time I will only be able to
update the wet weather line – I will not be able to email,
nor to update the website
Good luck to all teams.
